A quick overview on what’s generally included within your garden contract. Generally we include pretty much everything your garden would need except materials and substantial tree work. 1. Mow all lawns every week or every fortnight between the months of March-November, weather dependant. 2. Strim all edges of lawns and redefine borders every 2 weeks. 3. Treat all lawns with weed, feed and moss killer, once in late March and once in October. For best results we advise all clients to water in 48hrs after application. Generally safe around pets soon as watered in. Can irritate skin or pets paws if come into contact before watering. 4. All flowerbeds will be dug over and weeded each visit. 5. Shrubbery will be trimmed if and when, all dependant on growth and flowering stages. Usually 3 times a year. 6. Substantial hedging is trimmed twice a year usually, hedgerows sometimes have to be once due to nesting season. Substantial reductions would be a extra cost. 7. Small fruit trees are pruned once a year in February. Lower branches on trees are usually trimmed off once a year at head height if necessary. If you require any substantial tree work to be completed please contact the office for a quote. 8. Herbicides are applied to all hard standing every 4-6 weeks, again safe round pets once dry. 9. All waste is taken off site unless instructed otherwise to fill compost bins. We also offer other services which we can either complete on a pro rata basis or we can incorporate the cost into your contract. Power washing, full lawn care (over seeding, scarifying, aerating, dressing) hedge reductions, horticulture design and planting schemes and apply compost to all flowerbeds once a year.
